The girls arrived on time
and we went directly to the condo. We entered and every one went
crazy, screaming and hugging and jumping up and down and running all
over the condo, looking in the bedrooms and onto the terrace. They
hugged us and each other. Jenny loved everything and having her
computer all set up was a miracle to her. Bobby and Kit had no idea
what to expect and they were beside themselves with excitement and
the view just blew them away completely.
Kay, how do you do it?
This project is awesome, The palm trees look great, the ones on the
patios change the look of the building completely. Betty You have
done an awesome job on decorating, it is wonderful. You two have
been very busy. Both units are the hundred percent livable. You're
kidding! No, come across the hall........ This is wonderful They are
exactly alike...but they're different. Jenny the upholstery fabric
and drapes match in each unit but its a different flower pattern in
each. They are beautiful. and the area rugs over the carpet are all
color coordinated to each unit and it makes the rattan just stand
out. I like the first one best. Thank you Jenny this is ours to
share and it has three computers. So this is our getaway? Jenny we
own the entire floor to do what ever we want.
Would everyone like to go
swimming downstairs? The screams were deafening. We all changed into
our suits and grabbed towels and went to the pool. The girls turned
into teenagers as they dove into the warm water. They swam for
awhile and splashed and yelled and had a great time. Yes Jenny and I
were in the middle of it all. I noticed them slowing down and I
asked if they wanted to go to the spa? And the screams started
again. Out of the pool and through the door into the spa. The six of
us started to relax. The temperature is set at a constant one
hundred and two degrees. We were talking about the building and
Betty and I caught every one up to speed on the private elevator,
the four top units and everything that is going on. The Japanese
will be here tomorrow and things are looking very good.
Everyone, I have a limo
coming at five to take us out to dinner. We returned to the condo to
shower and dress for dinner. It was so much fun watching every one
scurrying around getting ready. They were starving so went directly
to the restaurant where we had a wonderful dinner. It reminded me of
when we took Jack's boat to Miami. We had wine after dinner and all
relaxed. Every one was happy to be in San Diego and they loved our
new place. We watched the sun set on the bay and talked about all
the things we could do for fun. After dinner we went home, I guess
it is home from now on when we are here. We had more wine and went
to the terrace to relax more. The flight has had a toll on the four
of them and the swim and food and wine they were all ready for bed
and it was only nine PM Betty went to bed alone and Christine went
alone. Bobby and Kit were together. Jenny and I talked for awhile.
Jenny brought up Jack
and......... Kay, Jack is the same Jack I went to Law school with.
What do you mean Jenny? Women are toys. When he is with one he is
one hundred percent then he switches to the next and he is the same
with the next one but it only lasts a few days. He has ten maybe
twenty and he circles them all every two or three months. He will be
back to you and you will be the only one again until he leaves and
he's off to the next. Kay, he is a really smart man and he's rich
and he's very good looking and a charmer to everyone he meets but he
is a playboy in the true sense of the word. Money means nothing to
him. He will help anyone who needs it and he has his own rules and
they are good rules and he is honest and loyal to his partners. In
business take him at his word. In bed what he says means nothing.
Mary, his wife was my best friend in school and she will tell you
