Things have been happening fast around here, Bob called me this morning
wanting me to meet with his design team on the Shields project to work
out details that I have in mind for the property. We arrived and went
right to work.... First of all there will be a wetland in the low spot
near the center of the property and four parks with playgrounds and
pools. The rules will be worked out by the homeowners association The
homes will be duplex style homes, most with alley access to the
garages. The homes will be surrounded with trees as we get into the
project more details will come out. Bob can we get away with out curbs
and gutters with the grass coming onto the pavement like country roads I
want it to feel more like cabins in the forest. By building
duplexes there will be only half the amount of structures with common
land instead of lots. No fences anywhere except around the play areas
with three to four thousand trees covering the common land. I see where
you're going and I can see it now. In time they will live in the
forest. Everything will be covered with grass, close around the homes
can be mowed and in the common land it will go natural. The perimeter
property fence will be covered with grapes and wild berries, You have
it, Bob. Yes I see, it will be beautiful. Bob do you need me? No thank

call you about seven. Bye Bob. He called his team together and as we
drove away he was pointing in different directions like he was
orchestrating an upcoming invasion. The guy does have vision and talent.
Mr. Shields will be pleased and so will I.
Joe took me home and Jenny was out
shopping as were all the girls. I called Fay to see what she was
doing? I was just thinking about lunch Kay, What are you thinking.
Can we take Joe with us Fay? well if we have to. We were both
laughing. We will meet you in the parking garage. Ok..... I'm on the
way. In the car Fay asked me.... How did it go with Bob? Very good,
he is off and running with his head full of ideas. He will do a good
job for us and he likes what he is doing. That's good Kay. I'm
really beside myself with all of this. I went through the property
folder and the property that he is giving us is in the neighbor of
thirty million dollars. I was thinking the same thing. Fay, keep
your mouth shut very tight about all of this. Knowledge is power and
power is money. Remember that. What do we do with that kind of
money? Fay I have no idea. But if you give money to someone it can
destroy them. If they were to share it with their children they can
lose respect for money and that can destroy them too. Drugs and
alcohol and fast cars are other things that free money will bring
and that can devastate then or get them killed. People who have won
the lottery really big tell the same story.
After lunch Joe went shopping with
Fay and I. We know this small dress shop that we both like to shop
at and I want something nice to wear tonight. I found what I wanted,
a slim black sleeveless dress and three inch black pumps and a new
black purse to match. Then we went grocery shopping for things for
the girls to snack on and to make sandwiches with. We usually have
breakfast and some times lunch at home but we go out for dinner or
order pizza in. I think I will call Tony and have him make us some
"Mob boss" pizzas and send them to us or better yet fly him out for
a few days. I called him..... Tony, Can you make me about six "Mob
boss" pizza's and deliver them, Sure where are you? At home in San
Diego sure I will be there in an hour. No Tony I'm serious. All of
the girls are here with Jenny and me. Jack and George will be here
tomorrow, better make that twelve pizzas and I will pay your way and
your expenses and I really want the pizzas to surprise the girls.
You will be the real surprise Tony, Kay I don't know but I'm going
to come. Make the pizzas and I will make your flight arrangements
and call you back. Thank you Kay, Good to talk to you Tony, see you
in the morning. I made the calls and he will be leaving at midnight
and Joe will pick him up at eight in the morning.
Bob called at seven and I was
ready. He was downstairs in the back. I invited him up, I ran all
the girls next door and told them not to come back. They were
giggling as they were leaving. In a few seconds the doorbell rang.
I opened it, Come in Bob. Wow you look gorgeous. He hugged me and
kissed me on the cheek and I hugged him back. You have a beautiful
place and a great view. We went through to the terrace and I sat
down and he walked back and forth around the rail looking at the
bay. I haven't seen the bay from this prospective before, it is
beautiful. He turned to me and said.... You are a very rich woman
aren't you Kay? Well yes, you could say that. Tell me about
yourself, Kay. As I told you before I grew up in real-estate and at
twenty I was a show girl in Las Vegas and after a while I grew tired
of it and started doing adult standup comedy then my parents died
last year and I moved to New York to live with my life long best
friend, then we were in a truck accident and she was killed . That
was a few months ago and for now I am living here but I have another
place in New York City that I will go back to as soon as the weather
clears. And that is the short version. Do you want to leave your car
here and take my limo? Kay that would be nice. I called Joe and he
will meet us downstairs. When the elevator opened Joe was standing
next to the car. He opened the door and we got in.
This is beautiful I thought it was
smaller. That's the small one there. Where do you want to go. Let's
walk the village. Joe, Yes Ma'am. Joe drove slow. Bob was very
impressed with the Limo. This is the nicest limo I have ever been in
Kay. Thank you Bob. We stopped for dinner and I told Joe to pick us
up in an hour and half. We ordered wine and our food and then
talked.... How long have you been with your company. About six
years. The pay is great and the work is great and the people let me
do whatever I want. I make the company money a lot of money and I
have a staff of about forty to fifty most of the time. We have
several projects going all the time. My team does all the designs
for the company and other people do the construction work I don't
run the work but I oversee it to make sure its on track. Kay this
morning when you started describing the Shields project I started
seeing it through your eyes and that's the first time that I have
ever had that happen. I usually see a project and design from my own
thoughts. You really blew me away today Kay. Our food came and we
started eating and Bob kept talking... I want to tell you something,
I talked to our board of directors today about you and they were
ready to hire you to work with me on upcoming projects, but after
seeing the way you live, they can't afford you. We both laughed. Yes
your right but I have several jobs that I will be doing in the near
future. and I would like you to be in on. I would love to work with
you Kay. My phone beeped. Joe is here. Would you like to take a
drive? Yes I would.
In the Limo we drove north and Bob
moved close to me and I turned and faced him and put my arms around
his neck and we kissed. I feel very important right now Kay. You are
Bob, you are to me. I have never dated a person like you. You are
very rich. If you had to guess how much have you made in the last
year? Bob do you need to know that? No not really but more than a
