We have been lazy
today the girls went to the roof about Ten this morning.
Someone heated Tony's pizza for lunch and we feasted, It was so
good. I would like to see him open a place here. Bob called this
afternoon to tell me...... I have some rendering's I would
like You to look at, also I wanted to throw some Ideas at you
about the housing. and the trees. Christine, a very close friend
and I are going to dinner at around six, at the Chart House
would you like to join us there for dinner? Yes that would be
good. I will see you there. Good bye. I told Christine about Bob
last night and she said she would meet him without any
expectations, That's good, you will see the work he does. He
does make really good money.
We arrived a few
minutes early and were seated. We ordered iced tea for three. He
arrived and came to our table and sat down. I introduced Bob and
Christine. He unrolled a drawing like a plot plan with roads and
housings and parks, pools, trees and a wet land. It was in color
and very beautiful. Kay what did you have in mind for the trees?
I want open land in areas but I would like to see groves of the
same kind of trees and some fruit trees along the upper fence
and redwood trees shading windows where ever we can and closed
in areas attached to the houses. Bob have you been to Sea Ranch
California? Yes several times, I have two books about the ranch.
that is the look we're searching for. I would like to see two
bedroom units in clusters of four with a walkway and decks
between them. And maybe three and four bedroom units the same if
we can make the garages work out, maybe put the garages under
some of the units. We ordered dinner and I excused myself to use
the restroom and I stopped at the bar and had a drink and
watched them in the mirror.
They hit it off very
quickly so I took my time and soon our food arrived, so I
returned to the table. What happened to you? I got trapped by a
friend. The food looks good, I said. Yes it does. I love the
fish and chips here. Christine said she met you in New York, Yes
we both live in the same building. I do commercial photography
She added. She has a bathingsuit shoot tomorrow. That should be
interesting. Bob would you like to watch? Christine added. I
would love to, when is it? Can I call you and let you know in
the morning? It will depend on the weather. Ok you can do that.
We ate as we talked. Christine told him most everything about
what she does in New York and about where she is staying here
and the rest of the girls and what they do. He was focused in on
her and that was great. Hey you two, I'm going to the bar and
talk for a few minutes and I will be right back. I sat and
watched them for about forty five minutes and returned to the
table. My friend left and I guess we better too. Bob do you want
to meet tomorrow at the property, maybe in the afternoon? Yes
that sounds good to me. Ok then We will both see you
tomorrow.
On the way home
Christine said..... He said he would like to take me out some
time, Kay but didn't know how you would take it. Christine I
have nothing going with him except work and you are welcome to
do any thing you feel like with him. Thank you Kay. He seam's
nice. He is and he has nothing to hide. He will tell you
anything you ask him. We arrived home and no one was at my
place. They were all at Jenny's watching a movie. I went in my
place and Christine joined the movie crowd. Jenny came over, she
wanted to talk about the shoot tomorrow. Kay do you know of a
good place to do the shoot? On the roof or at the hotel would be
good. At the village would be good but we would have to get a
permit and we would need a van for changing in. U-haul truck
with a ramp, we have used them many times before. Ok I will get
a permit in the morning and a truck, we will use the village.
The owner will call in the morning. She wants to watch the shoot
and she is bringing the suits. Sounds like we have it. Thank you
Kay. No problem. Good night Jenny. It was early but I wanted to
work on the computer some and get a good night's
sleep.........KB
