We're in New York and it's like I have never been here before. It's beautiful. Flowers, blooms, flags and ribbons. Window decorations abound. It's spring time in New York and it's beautiful. We walked and shopped and it seemed like I had never been before. The city is much cleaner and the people are out and spending money. Yes everyone is carrying umbrellas and wearing coats but by the weekend it will be in the seventies and I'm looking forward to true spring weather.
I went home to my flat and I walked in
and I thought I was in the wrong place. It is beautiful. Nothing like
my San Diego place at all. Much more upscale and chic. It is very soft

We went to the Studio and met with
everyone today and worked out the details of turning everything to the
employees. Jenny and I signed all the paperwork and had everyone sign
their copies and completed everything. I felt good about giving it all
away and allowing everyone make more money. We set scales for everyone
to follow to make equal amounts of money, or, work so many hours and
make so much money. It will all work it's way out.
Tomorrow Jenny and I are going to lunch
at Chowders and discuss plans for the Shields Foundation. She thinks it
would be a bad Idea to incorporate, it could cause trouble in the
future. The foundation would have less rules to follow and give us more
slack to deal with problems in the future. I am looking forward to
lunch. This will be a learning experience for me.

Jenny and I worked everything out. She
will be on retainer as the foundation lawyer. I will be the director and
Fay will be the Realtor. We will hire a secretary to work with Fay and
do everything for Fay. In the meantime Jenny said for me to take
everything that Mr. shields gave me, the ten percent of the money and
all the deeds and the rental properties. When we return to San Diego I
will redo the paper work at the bank and withdraw my money from the
foundation and put in in a separate account. Enough of all of this for
now. I was really mixed up until I heard Mel Gibson has nine hundred
million to worry about in his divorce.
Today is Tuesday and I want to have some
fun time for a while. Maybe it's time for a cruise someplace........KB
