Hurray I'm home. We had a bumpy flight and Jenny went home and I didn't
see her the rest of the day. We arrived just before twelve and Joe
picked us up. Stan had left me several messages so I called him back, he
was worried about me because I didn't answer my phone last night. I went
to bed early because we were leaving early this morning.
He came over and he took me to lunch
and we talked about the project. He told me that Bob had a contract
for me to sign and he needed a check to start the project. Are the
plans all done? I asked. No but were working on them, he answered.
Does he have the contract with the Scope of work to be performed? I
didn't know, He said. Do you know how much the contract is for? They
are still working on it. Let's talk about something else, I said.
Kay we need to tie this all up as soon as possible. Stan, I want
this as bad as they do but I'm not signing an open contract when it
involves close to two hundred million dollars. It's not going to
happen. When they get all their ducks in a row, Jenny and I will go
over it and then we will sign it. Do they want a deposit for the
plans? If they do give me a bill or some answers and I will give
them a check. He calmed down and we ate our lunch and he was going

I stopped by Fay's office and we

are very happy. They all have found things to do in the city and are
beginning to venture to Los Angeles to the theme parks and the
beaches up and down the coast of southern California. Mr. Soto said
that everyone likes San Diego much better than Tokyo. Several of his

Stan told me they were afraid we
would back out of the deal and I said only if it cost too much. Did
they say how much the plans would be? No, they will be included in
the project cost. I would like to see them as soon as they're
finished, maybe we can have a sit down on Monday lunch and relieve
everyone's mind. Kay that would be great. We arrived and Joe let us
out and drove away. Inside the place was wonderful, we were seated
and soon we ordered. Stan I really missed California, I couldn't
wait to get back. I missed you Kay, seems like you were gone a
