Everyone is busy buying presents including me. We put up a Christmas tree in the living room and started placing presents around it today. Chris and the girls decorated it and then went to Chris' to do her tree. We have adopted Chris I guess. She has no one to hang with so she, Bobby and Kit have became very close in the last several days, they seen lost when she goes to work but they have been meeting her for lunch some.

Sally and I have joined a Spa, I am helping Sally work out and we have been swimming laps also. Swimming is the best all around exercise, we come home exhausted and take a nap for an hour or so. I think we need to go around nine or ten in the evening instead of the morning, I'm tired all day from the swimming.  Jack called and we met for lunch last Saturday, we chatted for a while as we had lunch. We sat and watched the bay and sipped our ice tea for a long while and said nothing. Jack pointed to a small sail boat race and one boat had turned over and we watched as they turned back upright and joined the race again. Jack seem to relax as we continued to watch the sail boats race. We had turned our chairs toward the water with our feet up on a planter and we were sitting close together. Jack put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him and gave me a kiss on the cheek and stayed close to me as we watched. The waiter returned and filled our glasses and we sipped our tea and watched the boats. After a long while he turned to me and said, Kay, would you like to go to my place? Yes Jack, that would be nice. We walked the six blocks to his apartment. Every time I come here it feels so wonderful, Jack I love the view I don't think I would ever get tired of it. Dad moved into this office in January of eighty two, That was my first time here and I still love the view. I need to... Sure go ahead. Jack, you mind if I take a shower? want to join me? I have a towel around my hair to keep it dry as I shower. I have soaped and rinsed off and turned off the shower. Jack came in, what are you doing? I'm finished you go ahead, I will dry and then I will dry you. I brushed my hair and fixed my make up and Jack came out for me to dry. I dried him all over and we walked to the bed and laid so we could see the bay.

What is the worst thing about living here? The wind, some times it blows so hard all the windows rattle like they are going to explode and they have before. Several windows have broken over the years but none on this floor. One storm took out eleven on the thirty third floor and a couple more on the thirty second, most of the time they break at night and they implode into the building with very little glass falling. the glass breaks into very small pieces the size of your small fingernail. We talked about his ranch, his boat, his kids, his business and we never talked about us or sex. we laid around all afternoon nude and never touched sexually. We hugged and he would kiss me occasionally but nothing with any passion. It is like we are really good friends. I told Jack I needed to go home and he had already said he was flying back to the ranch for a few days, tonight, He called George and he picked me up and took me back to my car, at Chowders. I ask George, How is Jack doing? He is kind of bouncing off the walls lately. He seems to have no direction most of the time. He has plenty of work but he delegates it away, then fly's back to the ranch...........Enough for tonight, until tomorrow......KB
