Number One

      I have been thinking about writing for years and I finally have the opportunity to do so. I did some play writing in college then received my RN later on and never returned to writing. As a male nurse for almost six years and a transsexual nurse for over fourteen more years, I had some wonderful times. With the new TV shows "Nurse Jackie" and "HawthoRN" I have once again been inspired to write some of the things that I have seen and done over the last twenty years. Nancy and I both work about ten minutes away from home and we are about ten minutes apart from each other at work. Sometimes we can go shopping during the day for awhile. There are several antique stores in the downtown area and we try to hit them about once a week. Import shops are fun for us too. Taking a ferry ride is a fun thing to do. Tiburon has many shops and restaurants. We try to plan our days off together and prefer weekdays when its not crowded with tourists.

    Nancy and I left Friday after work and stayed at "Inn Marin" Friday night. It's very quiet and we have stayed there several times in the past.       We are staying at the Inn Marin tonight and tomorrow night. We needed a place to stay so we drove up here for the weekend. Now a realtor who was a patient a few weeks ago told me he could get three and a half million for it.
     Nancy is very happy with Jackie and Victoria and with me at the moment. She wanted to paint it when she moved in but it had just been painted after the earth quake.      We returned home last Sunday the 18th and our place was a mess. The painting was not done, no carpet, and the kitchen was stripped and all of our belongings were in storage someplace.      We went shopping for outside furniture at Home depot today, What a store, it has everything but groceries. Tuesday Dec.15 th.- Yesterday I took Nancy, Robert and Sue to the airport and watched them take off for their two month tour of Europe.      Things are settling down a bit. I had lunch with Robert on Monday.  He did sell his two cars and he said he gave his furniture away in the sale of the condo. Also that marina checks all the boats and makes sure it is ok as for rainwater leaking into it. It has a Solar panel to keep the battery up and an automatic pumping system to keep the water out of the hull if water gets in it. So for now it's better off over there. There is a service to varnish the wood on the decks and rails as soon as the weather warms up.
     Ann came home early today because of the weather and sales are so slow, she spends much of her time on the computer at work sending e-mails to all of her old customers informing them where she is working and also mailing to company generated leads.
